About the Role
The Field Clinical Specialist – Electrophysiology will provide expert clinical, product and technical assistance and training to physicians, laboratory staff and sales representatives on the safe and effective use of the Farapulse and Opal systems within the assigned geography.
Responsibilities
Serve as primary resource for clinical support, case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system and software development.
Educate customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the proper clinical usage of Farapulse and Opal devices through presentations, demonstrations and various formats.
Attend cases in hospital labs, provide case support and development for Farapulse and Opal systems.
Deliver initial and continuous training and feedback to development teams and sales representatives.
Meet with physicians and hospital groups, traveling by car or plane, to identify clinical needs and demonstrate product solutions.
Develop relationships with hospital personnel and key decision makers to facilitate future sales.
Respond to customer needs and complaints, collaborating with sales, clinical research, marketing and technical support to devise optimal solutions.
Cover the Rome region and, when required, support neighboring regions.
What we are looking for
1‑2 years of experience in a similar role (beneficial but not required).
Degree in Biomedical Sciences or related field, preferably with electrophysiology focus.
Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex technical and clinical details.
Professional proficiency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
Ability to travel extensively and adapt to a dynamic marketplace.
Team player, self‑motivated, flexible and persistent.
