Your Role We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Engineer focused on Silicon Carbide (SiC) power products within the Power Transistor subgroup. You will be involved in the full product lifecycle, from conception to obsolescence, and will work on semiconductor physics, electrical characterization and test methods.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new SiC power products in collaboration with cross‑functional teams, ensuring market demand and high quality.
Support qualification and implementation of product, material flow changes, and site‑to‑site transfers.
Define, implement and oversee testing programs for SiC products, including debugging and production transition.
Analyze test data to establish specifications, improve yields and support product change activities.
Conduct thorough electrical characterization of SiC power devices.
Track and analyze yield data, identifying improvement opportunities.
Provide technical support to production plants and customers, including on‑site assistance and business trips.
Your Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field (Master’s preferred).
Strong understanding of semiconductor physics, especially SiC and power transistor structures.
Proficiency in circuit analysis, basic statistics and electrical characterization of power devices.
Experience with power transistor testing and SiC technology.
Familiarity with semiconductor assembly, testing and production processes.
Knowledge of programming languages is a plus.
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Compensation The gross annual salary range is €43,000 – €53,000 RAL plus variable pay, in line with EU pay‑transparency guidelines and the applicable collective agreement.
